How to configure Simplify 3D for better connection to the PC

Modified on: Tue, 18 Aug, 2015 at 12:26 PM

You also need to disable the auto updating of the profile's attached firmware settings by unchecking the update firmware configuration box in the G-Code tab.

Otherwise the settings will default back to original!

Dear Wcubitt ,

That is correct, however with the new software update ( the 1.4.5 version ) and the new firmware ( the 2.3 version) you no longer have to increase the serial cache size in Simplify 3D for a stable connection .

You can find the steps on how to install the updates in the links below:

1. Update CreatrHS Stand-Alone software

2. Flash new firmware on the CreatrHS

3. Set extruder offset for your CreatrHS (M50)
