How to prevent Second extrudeur to hurt ?

How to prevent the second extrudeur to hurt and unstick the printed PLA or ABS when printing litle things ?

3 people have this problem

You need to make sure they are exactly the same height (distance from the bed).

If they are not, the instructions on how to adjust them is on page 61 of the manual:

Also, if you're not currently using the second extruder, you can move it a little higher so it's out of the way.

I just unscrew the nozzle if two extruders not needed this way when I put it back it is already set at the correct height.

I just heat other extruder so it melts a plastic particle it hits rather then to pull whole model from the bed. If someone thinks it's wrong approach please let me know.
