This article will show you how to replace a printhead drive unit stepper motor
Step 1
- Disconnect the wire harness of the stepper motor marked in green
- Disconnect the filament pressure thumbscrew marked in yellow
Step 2
- Remove the 4 screws holding the stepper motor in place
Step 3
- Slide the stepper motor out.
If you are keen on assembling a motor back on your printhead. Please follow the same steps in reversed
direction.
